Ampro Tape Recorder Models Sams Photofact Service Schematics

ampro_models_755_756_sams_photofact_schematic Ampro Models 755 and 756 Tape Recorders incorporate push button controls for the following functions: Record, Fast Forward, Rewind, Play, and Stop. Actual control is achieved by means of solenoid actuated mechanisms. The two models are alike in basic design, the differences being that Model 755 is designed for a tape velocity of 3 3/ I. P. S. and the amplifier is equalized for that tape characteristic, whereas Model 756 is designed for a tape velocity of 7 1/ I. P. S. and is equalized accordingly. Both models are designed to record and play back two tracks of material on standard recording tape, which doubles the playing time with no loss of frequency response or quality. Recordings can be made from a radio, television receiver or phonograph, in addition to those made directly from the microphone. Recordings can be played back, through the self-contained speaker or an external speaker may be used through use of the "Ext. Speaker" jack. Models 755 and 756 are designed to operate on 60 cycle, 105-120 volts, AC supply only. CAUTION: Severe Damage Will Result If Connection Is Made To A Direct Current (DC) Line.
